You May Have Already Won

Edited to add: I closed the comments for this post and will post a winner soon.

This blog was started just over one year ago. That's about 25 projects done plus a good dozen that never made it to the blog, about 6 swaps, many fun and touching comments from you, dear readers, and lot of my random thoughts. To celebrate and as thanks for all of the fun I am passing along some of my favorite stuff to one lucky reader!

Follow the steps and the prizes may be yours!

1) Leave a comment on this post.
2) Make sure you include a way for me to contact you
3) Tell me if you sew, crochet, knit or some other craft (or if you don't do any of these, it's OK, I still like you and you can still be entered in the drawing!)
4) Tell me something that you are excited about, or link to it. A crafting project you have seen, something you have made, a CD you like, whatever knocks your socks off.

So the important part, the prizes, depending on your craft or non-craft, will be hand selected for you and will include some of the following items:

A vintage sewing pattern from this pile

A couple of vintage knitting or crochet pattern books from this pile

Japanese whistle candy (be safe and sober or you may shower your friends!)

Fabric or vintage rick rack

A couple of current issues of magazines not related to craft, just for fun!

Get to commenting and I will draw a name in a few days.

Hello there! Amazing how fast a year flies by when measured in blog-time.

I don't knit or crochet, but dabble in most other crafty arenas.

My next to-do project is an Amy Butler cabo halter top which I'm quite excited about doing.

Third! =) I love sewing, knitting and crocheting, anything I can make with my hands! =)

I am all about the embroidery and bags right now. Have you read U-handblog? It's a great blog on bags/construction/ideas.

Ooo Baby. I loves me a give-a-way!

You've, of course, seen it all: knitting, sewing (albeit badly), cooking, gardening, mothering :-)

I'm really excited about Flicca - a beautiful "coat" pattern on My Fashionable Life blog. Have to finish a few other obligations first. :-)

I'm also still excited about Rhubarb. Made another crisp last night. One of the benefits of a cool, late, short growing season. :-)

Hello, hello! I'm so glad I lurked & read your blog for months before I actually commented because otherwise I would never have found Purly Girls!

I love knitting and I grew up cross-stitching. Sewing is on my list of things to learn.

I am currently lusting after the new Debbie Bliss book, Family Knits: 25 Handknits for All Seasons- so fabulous.

Hey- Congrats! I too love to knit. I like to sew- meaning I enjoy it when i do it- but I almost never do.
I am excited about summer break- I teach and there are 10 school days left!

Hello! Knitting is my main hobby, but I also sew, though I haven't learned to crochet yet, it is on the list of things to do.
I'm really excited about starting up a Knit group in my town, currently we have to travel 40 min to the next town. Just heard the county extenstion office is going to sponser it, space and advertising. Isn't that great?

Time flies, eh? I'm closing in on one year, too. Yowza.

I mostly knit, but lately I'm in a total sewing frenzy--must! make! skirts!

Yesterday I spotted someone on the street outside my office wearing a Rusted Root and wished she was you so I could run out and say Hi!

Hi Sasha

I am not crafty, but I like to thrift and paint and aggravate my husband.

Right now I'm excited about my art camp. I'm also into gardening- a little- and making puppets. I just bought a vintage styrofoam wig head that I will cover with vaseline and paper mache over to make big puppet head.

I love your blog and I think you make the cutest stuff.

I have some artwork which features the young Matt- I don't know if you would be interested in having a piece of it? I'm not doing anything with it... I could send you some pics...
