Silk or a Sow's Ear

I can't even pick a darn ribbon and finish something off. Nothing looks right to me. Maybe it would help if I brought the knit with me when I went ribbon shopping. I am still wrapping my head around the idea that both kids are in school together one day a week and I have 2 1/2 hours to get things done, and I am trying not to run around in circles. But I did manage to pick up those dozen mouse traps I've been so wanting! (Insert several high pitched eeks here.) Oh how I hope the kids don't snap a finger in one, but I must set them all over the house. The children are walking crumb factories, you think maybe that's a contributing factor in the problem? Well there is the fact that I loathe housework, but still I clean every day.

Oh, I so totally share in your mouse woes. The cooler fall weather has sent them into our garage, and from there, into our attic. So we could hear them traipsing around like 4000 lb elephants above our heads the other night. So hubby had to crawl into the attic with a bunch of traps. sigh.

Re your comment. Yes! Fine Artie is...Suzanne. Once at Disneyland Shawn Suzanne and I all got hats and Suzanne had hers embroidered like that "Fine Artie".

I think I'm at the other end of the spectrum & buy everything I think will work. All ribbon is so pretty to me, I always have tons left over.

I'm into the green grosgrain...we came back from our last vacation to find that a mouse had done the same in our daughter's bedroom. G-R-O-S-S!
