Tiptoe Socks

Another handknit gift completed. As I pointed out earlier, although I can knit from a chart, this doesn't prevent me from assuming the socks are knit one way when they are in fact charted to knit in the other direction (cuff-down versus toe-up.) But I actually love the lace pointing toward the toe so it's a happy accident.

The heel is from the Anniversary Socks pattern from Favorite Socks, isn't it pretty?

I think these are my favorite socks yet. I really wish they were for me, but I hope that means that my sister will like them too. I haven't actually kept a single pair of socks for myself, (I also make bath bombs even though I don't actually take baths!) but soon I hope to have my very first pair of handknit socks.

They're beautiful. But you deserve handknit socks. They make your feet happy.

Those are gorgeous, Sasha. Make another pair for you!

And wow, do I suck, because it's been almost a whole month, and I never told you how much I liked those bath bombs. The fragrance was really subtle, and the oils very moisturizing. When's your bath bomb party? :)

it is in my nature to make and make and make and constantly give away everything to those I love. So I have very little handmade anything left for myself! it is definitely good to spoil oneself once in a blue moon.

Those socks look sooo nice :) Some day I will learn to knit like you do! Right now about all I can do are toques and mittens...and the scarf of course ;p.
