Gasp! Gasp! Gasp! That was me at the thrift store today. I was supposed to be running to the grocery store to get some things for a quick Lime Icebox Pie but I made a slight detour. There are people out there claiming that I have some kind of thrifting skill and I don't want to disappoint.
I am so thrilled! I found 18 vintage knitting and crochet pamphlets. Just look at this...
Some of my faves...
When I saw this picture I was thinking, Oh, a nice simple garter stitch scarf. Uh, no, it a leper bandage. Wow, that would never have occurred to me.
And hunting mittens!
I am in favor of anything Fleur-de-Lis. I would totally wear this one!
There is much more goodness in these books, so much fun!

omg. leper bandages. i bet that leaflet smells funny - i just know it!
Put some poufy sleeves on that fleur de lis and you're ready to be supercute.
Your thrift store is open on the 4th of July? You are hardcore.
I wonder what the non-approved leper bandages look like?
So you are so lucky, finding all this goodies. Can't wait to see what you'll make of it.
Mmmmm! Leper bandages!
What great finds - I'm choking at the idea of leper bandages - eeew!
Wow! What a terrific find :)
My grandmother knits leper bandages. Otherwise, I'd never believe it. She sends them off somewhere every week.
Amazing score!
Late to comment as I'm just seeing this post from a Google search for Fleur de Lis, but I have to say: I am SO jealous of your pamphlet find! I would be squeeing inside were I to come across that in a thrift store! AWESOME!
