Mushroom Love
I started this cuff at Monday knitting night and 1/3 through my bamboo circular broke. It was too much too pick up the dropped stitches so I started over on Friday and finished the one cuff on Saturday. This is a great little project for working on some new skills. New skills attempted: knitting with 3 colors, steeking, picking up stitches for a button band.
The steeking was actually fun. In case you're not familiar with the concept, steeking is when you knit something and then take scissors to your knitting. So in this case, the cuff was knit in the round and then I cut it and pick up stitches just in from the cut and knit the button band. You can reinforce the knitting before you cut, but it wasn't necessary for this yarn and this project. I did sorta whip-stitch the ends down on the inside afterward, but this is optional.
I did a tiny bit of duplicate stitch to fix a little spot where I used the wrong color, and one of my mushrooms should be facing the other way, and my tension is a little inconsistent, but overall I am happy with my work.

US Size 1 bamboo DPNs
I made size Medium, but if I knit it again on size one needles I would make the small.
