Snow and Other Babble

There is an inch or two of snow on the ground, none in the streets, and the public schools are closed for the second day in a row. We are a city of weather wimps, me included, I am not driving until I have to.

In the past 10 days I have cleaned and organized my whole house. sewed curtains, installed mirrors (10 holes to get four anchors in the wall, sigh) drove to Home Depot, Target and Ikea three times each store, and generally drove myself to almost total exhaustion.

Then came the pie baking, three pumpkin and two apple. Did you know it is possible to forget to add sugar to your pumpkin pie and then feed it to 15 people and no one will notice if you made it with a sweetened crumb crust?

Not much bloggable content to report. I am working on a new knitting project, because my husband asked me what unfinished knits I had laying around, not just for the sake of curiosity, but for a photo shoot (I actually considered hiding the evidence, but I fessed up, four projects!), and this inspired me. Not to finish the sweater, string bag, scarf or sock, mind you. I am making a new pair of socks.

My goodnes - you've been busy! I've been wondering where you were these last few days.

We are supposed to get colder weather by the weekend - just in time for us to go get the tree :-)

Can't wait to see pictures of everything you've been working on!

*sigh* I miss snow days, I love the idea of being locked in side the house cleaning, organizing and nesting.

Can't wait to see your sock.
