Did you figure out what I won? Well, it's now official. I won one of the grand prizes in the Spin Out raffle. All because I made a tax deductible donation to Heifer International and I was entered in the drawing for fabulous yarny prizes!
It's the most amazing thing, I have looked at Spinning Wheels even though it's not something that I could afford right now. But if I were to choose, I would pick one that is light, small, portable, with a simple sleek modern look, and of course, a Birch finish. Do you know where I'm going with this?
It the Louet Victoria!!!
The exact one I would have picked! I am beyond amazed that I won this. Frankly, I can't believe it yet, but I am so looking forward to getting my hands on that wheel and giving it a go.
I am impressed with at all of the hard work that went into this raffle. Thanks so much Cara! And so many people donated such generous prizes! Of course a special thanks to Meg at Yarn Expressions for her generous donation of this fabulous spinning wheel! The knitting community is just amazing!

Congratulations! That is so amazing.
Congratulations! I saw your name on Cara's blog and got really excited for you. Woohoo! Enjoy!
Wow. That is so exciting. I don't spin and I think it's wonderful.
Quick, if you hurry I think there may still be time to get to Rhinebeck for the weekend.
Or you could pass the time until the wheel arrives by reading posts about SOAR this past weekend. Start with Stephanie P-McP's. Note that there are scholarships to be had.
Congratulations! That is very exciting!!!
Congratulations! (I admit, I was hoping to win one of the wheels, but you're so excited that I can't be anything but happy for you!) Have fun with it, spin some gorgeous stuff!
Congrats!! What a great thing to have happen!
Congratulations!
Congrats on your recent winnings!
I'm a WA blogger/knitter, as well and thought I'd say "hello!"
