I am working on a quilt with 34 K-2nd Graders. They did the drawings, made prints with the Print Gocco, made color and fabric selections, and machine sewed the squares together. It's really bright, but I will temper it with some white-ish fabric. I started this cuff at Monday knitting night and 1/3 through my bamboo circular broke. It was too much too pick up the dropped stitches so I started over on Friday and finished the one cuff on Saturday. This is a great little project for working on some new skills. On Tuesday I walked into the thrift store and said, I am going to walk out of here with some fabulous vintage knitting booklets...and I did! See these socks? They are the first pair that I've made and kept for myself. I just tend to make socks for presents. But wow, they really feel toasty and good on my feet. I got two fillings and a temporary crown today. 2 1/2 hours of dental misery.
